Business Valuation Products & Pricing Calculation of Value Application: Often used when a client needs to know the current market value of the business but does not require an extensive written report. Report is 5-15 pages long and requires 1 week to complete. Calculation of Value is suitable for pre-planning activities or ongoing monitoring of the value building progress. 60-minute phone consultation is also included. This gives me an ability to look at each valuation engagement from a perspective of an experienced business coach and consultant, rather than from a narrower perspective of a CPA (80% of credentialed Business Valuators are CPAs). For the most complicated valuation assignments, I collaborate with specialists whose practice’s sole focuses are only Valuations. We use 4-6 valuation methodologies, bench-marking comparison to companies in the same industry, and extensive databases of completed transactions. Limited Scope Valuations are suitable for exit/succession planning, preparing the business for sale, buy/sell agreements and many other purposes. Report is 20-50 pages long and requires 2-4 weeks to complete. Two 60-minute phone consultations and value enhancement recommendations are also included.

$2,500 - $5,000 depending on the size of the company.
Full Scope Valuation
Application:
Often used for external purposes such as tax related matters, shareholder disputes, conducting annual reviews, obtaining lender financing, etc... We use 4-6 valuation methodologies, industry analysis, demographic studies, operations bench-marking, and multiple databases containing companies sold in same industry. Report is 50-70 pages long and requires 3-6 weeks to complete. Two 90-minute phone consultations and value enhancement recommendations are also included.
Pricing:
$5,000 - $10,000 depending on the size of the company and purpose for the valuation.
Comprehensive Valuation
Application:
Typically required for pending litigation, IRS audits, partnership disputes, gift/estate planning, and for sellers, buyers, or lenders who are planning the sale/purchase of a business and desire a more thorough analysis and supporting documentation than the Full Scope Valuation would provide. We use 6-10 valuation methodologies, industry analysis, demographic and economic studies, operations bench-marking, nationwide comparison of businesses sold in same industry, and exhaustive explanation of all assumptions and calculations. Report is 70-100 pages long and requires 4-8 weeks to complete. Three 90-minute phone consultations are also included.
Pricing:
$10,000 - $20,000 depending on the size of the company and purpose for the valuation. Expert witness services are available at additional cost.
Update Valuations
Application:
Used when we have already conducted a valuation for your client’s company. Same form and length of the valuation as previously purchased with 1-3 weeks delivery time.
Pricing:
50% of the original cost.
